When designing a single family home for this client, we focused on making the living and dining areas welcoming for social gatherings. We worked with a rich palette of materials and finishes that would complement the openness in the home’s architecture. In the living room, a custom Venetian plaster fireplace in warm white both enhanced the space while grounding it as a memorable communal area. The furniture and décor we selected — a linen-finish buffet and hammered bronze top dining table — added vibrant contrasts, layers, and textures. We kept this home feeling expansive yet warm, making it pleasant to share with the entire family.
